Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Senior Software and Tools Developer, who will be part of a virtual team set-up. The team provides the best possible infrastructure and tools for our company purposes and digital transformation challenges/needs.
Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, architecture design, proof of concepts, system design, software design, integration, verification, simulations and support various tool users during the lifecycle.
We focus on Agile, Lean and DevOps methodologies. We work in a highly collaborative environment with fast changing demands where agility and ability to change quickly is a key!

You will
• Play a strategic technical leadership role
• Carry out continuous analysis and requirement handling
• Conduct technical studies and discussions
• Strive for a rapid demand development
• Perform modular implementation design (Microservices methodology)
• Drive continuous improvements of tools and processes
• Perform trouble shooting and user support
• Develop competence in technical domain
• Support and help colleagues
• Report to the Head of CMD Enablers and Platforms
To be successful in the role you must have
• A University degree (MSc or BSc) or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development
• Genuine interest in software architecture and design
• Advanced knowledge in database architecture like Neo4J / Graph DB (Preferred), MySQL or similar
• Programming language skills such as Java, PHP, Kotlin, C#, Angular (Advanced in at least one of them)
• Expertise in Cloud environments (Docker primarily, Kubernetes, Helm charts)
• Experience in Spring boot, Spring MVC or similar framework
• Competence to effectively leading change, originating ideas, gaining commitment
• Ability to learn new technologies, methods and tools
• Product development and product lifecycle management knowledge
• Capability to deliver the results and meet customer expectations
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication skills
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Additional preferred experiences:
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Jenkins concepts and tools
• Work according to Test Driven Development
• Knowledge of Linux
• Good knowledge of HTTP protocol including RESTful API
• Knowledge of SVN/GIT
• IDE's such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, NetBeans, Visual Studio
