About the position
The Customer Success Implementation (CSI) department is responsible for the configuration and delivery of our Crew and Ops management products to airline customers and to make sure that we deliver solutions that our customers truly need. CSI is now looking for Senior Software Application Developer to join our department. This is an opportunity to be part of a skilled team of implementation specialists that solve some of the most challenging optimization problems in the world, value diversity and learn from each other.
As a Software Application Developer you will work closely with our clients as an implementation specialist and configure the application to their business environment. We are looking for a senior team member with expertise in software development and user experience as well as showing strong communication and co-operation skills. The successful candidate is good at dealing with technical challenges and programing tasks as well as handling client expectations and building long-term customer relations. If they have hands on experience from previous positions managing, configuring and evolving Crew and/or Ops Management systems and processes this is highly meriting.
Position Responsibilities:
Your tasks will include: understanding the client’s needs, capturing requirements, configure the software, optimization modelling/tuning, verifying, testing and continuously exploring how to improve and increase the value proposition to our clients; training and mentoring colleagues.
For this position it is vital that you are passionate about learning the Airline business and sharing the knowledge you have acquired and that you see yourself contributing in teamwork, workshops and communicating with different stakeholders as part of the requirements gathering and implementation process.
This position will be based in Gothenburg and the candidate needs to be able to travel to our customers from time to time as part of the job. Mainly within Europe, Africa and Middle East.
Required competencies:
Ability to speak and write English fluently



Preferred competencies
MSc or BSc in Computer Science / Physics Engineering /Industrial Engineering or equivalent Programing experience
Experienced with Unix / Linux environment
Demonstrates strong communication skills
Python, Shell scripting, SQL, Web development, Java, functional programming
Interaction design / UX competence (User Experience – Interaction design, Information architecture, User research, Task flows/Scenarios)
Experience working within a scrum team or in similar agile project setup such as SAFe
Background and domain knowledge in one or more of Aviation, Aerospace and/or Airline Operations
Several years of Airline Crew Management and Jeppesen Crew product customization experience
Ability to speak additional languages fluently

Typical Education/Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
