The MACH (Modular Advanced Control for High Performance) platform plays an important role in the worlds transition towards sustainable energy sources. The MACH platform R&D department takes care of the complete development phase from napkin ideas to products in service. The system software and related tools make up the backbone of the MACH platform. It brings the hardware alive, enables interoperability, configurability, and engineering in terms of graphical programming.

Your responsibilities
Owning IEC61850 roadmap for MACH control platform
Being up to date with market trends within your domain
Evaluate conceptual R&D activities, business needs and technology advancements within your domain
Driving cyber security aspects within your area, together with Product Security Officer (PSO) in the system architect team
Supporting delivery projects with your expertise in network topology and communication solutions
Lead implementation of network communication related features in agile scrum teams
As part of system architect team, you will work with general system engineering activities e.g., requirement management, functional and design architecture

Your Background
You have in-depth knowledge in communication network protocols and infrastructure. You have in-depth knowledge of the different layers in OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) model. You are familiar with the protocol stack for IP (Internet Protocol) networks
You have experience with MBSE principles and sysML
Knowledge in IEC61850 and other substation automation specific protocols are meritorious. You have knowledge in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems
You are fluent in English, written and spoken alike. Beyond this you are either fluent in Swedish or working towards Swedish proficiency
It is meritorious if you are part in established forums in network communication and infrastructure as science
You have knowledge in C, C++ and C# programming languages
You have minimum three years of work-experience with network communication development
You have basic knowledge in Linux RTOS (Real Time Operating System)
