This is a senior software developer position at Ericsson Sweden where you get to work with a team of engineers in delivering Ericsson's Multimedia Telephony Application Server (MTAS) features for VoLTE and other IMS enabled solutions.
MTAS is Ericsson’s Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) application server for IP telephony and multimedia which meets all necessary large network telephony requirements. It is designed for Voice over LTE (VoLTE) enhanced with multimedia and convergence with PSTNs. MTAS is part of Ericsson's IMS solution portfolio.
You will
Work with a team of highly experienced software developers, architects and Product Owners
Develop and test features for MTAS used by customers across the globe
Have the opportunity to participate and contribute to MTAS communities, where ideas and views are shared across different sites
Report to Manager of MTAS Development Unit
To be successful in the role you must have
Relevant design experience with strong programming experience in C++ or other Object Oriented programming language and testing
Knowledge of IMS nodes, SIP, and diameter protocols
Good knowledge of IMS architecture, 3GPP, VoLTE specifications
Experience from virtualized telecom carrier-grade product (a plus)
Creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting / debugging skills
Ability to articulate and lead discussions with the team, Product Owners, and other stakeholders
Solid work ethic, customer focus, team player skills with a passion for delivering world-class solutions.
Good written and verbal communication
Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
