Senior software developer and technical lead
We are looking for someone with passion for Python, Django, Cloud computing/Web services and building web platforms. Do you want to strengthen a smart, energetic and fun software de-velopment team?

Leica Geosystems and the division of Machine Control are developing advanced software for the civil engineering and construction industry.
Moving large amounts of data to the cloud quickly and effectively is our specialty and we are eagerly looking for a motivated software developer to join us.
You will contribute to our Machine Control development and improve the communication plat-form used as part of our Machine Solutions. Do you want to make a difference?
We now want to strengthen one of our fast moving cloud development team with a sen-ior software developer and technical lead.
You will be part of our office team located in nice, new premises in Stockholm, Liljeholmen.
As Leica is a global company you will be part of an international environment and interact with colleagues around the world.
The role will require a few business trips a year, mainly in Europe.
Your skills
• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience (web/cloud)
• Strong and extensive Web service development and Cloud development/deployment ex-perience
• Experience with Python and web development frameworks
• Experience with Django, Django REST Framework and AngularJS
• Proven skills in architecture and platform development
• Well experienced with Agile development methods
• Bonus: Test Driven Development
• Fluent in English
