Our Exciting Opportunity
As a senior software developer at Ericsson Sweden, you will work with a team of engineers in delivering Ericsson's Multimedia Telephony Application Server (MTAS) and Call Session Control Function (CSCF) server features for VoLTE and other IMS enabled solutions.
MTAS and CSCF are Ericsson’s Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) application servers for IP telephony and multimedia which meets all vital large network telephony requirements. It is crafted for Voice over LTE (VoLTE) improved with multimedia and convergence with PSTNs. These are part of Ericsson's IMS solution portfolio.
We are now modernizing MTAS and CSCF to become Cloud Native products with improved scalable architecture and deployment. For this, we are looking for talented go-getters!
You will
Work with highly experienced software developers, architects, and Product Owners
Develop and test features as a member of the MTAS & CSCF Cloud-Native team
Have the opportunity to participate and contribute to MTAS & CSCF communities, where ideas and views are shared across different sites
To be successful in the role you must have
Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Good programming skills in C++ or other Object Oriented programming language
Working knowledge of Containers and Virtualization (Kubernetes, Docker, Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), VMware, Helm, Open Stack, etc.)
CI/CD knowledge, as this is an integral part of cloud-native development
Superb communication skills
A Positive can-do attitude
Creative problem-solving skills
Proficiency in English
Highly developed collaboration skills
Curious personality with a holistic view and appreciation for exciting tasks
Excellent team-collaboration skills and a positive “can-do” demeanor
