The role

In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing short and long-term e-commerce solutions. You will work together with a team of skilled and fun colleagues, both internationally and locally.

 

Key responsibilities

o   Act as Technical Lead for the development team

o   Make sure that all planned and developed architectures are aligned with the business strategies and follow Verisure architecture patterns.

o   Responsible together with the team to build and configure global e-commerce websites.

o   Design and contribute to the implementation of integrations with other applications.

o   Designing themes and interfaces.

o   Responsibility for performance and troubleshooting integration issues.

o   Updating website features and security patches.

o   Assist the organization with architectural insight and vies.

o   Conduct research of new technologies in the field to plan for new investments that will increase cost and effectiveness and flexibility.

o   Coach and trains team members

Location

The position is placed in Verisure’s modern office facilities in Malmö (only 5 minutes’ walk from the central station).

Reports and organization structure

This position will report directly into our E-Commerce Manager.

What do you bring

You are a curious senior developer/system architect that thrives on complexity, change and improvement and have good communication skills. You are a team player who likes to collaborate in teams as well as working independently. You have experience with e-commerce lifecycles and the ability to break down high level requirements to architectural design decisions, as well as giving recommendations for solutions. 

Qualifications & Skills:

o   Advance knowledge in APIs implementation and integrations.

o   Knowledge in Java and microservices

o   Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, PHP

o   Good knowledge in Payment Gateways implementations.

o   Understanding of modern UI/UX trends.

o   Highly developed communication skills; adaptability toward varying situations and audiences; interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels.

o   Ability to understand and handle tasks and deadlines both independently and as a team member.

o   Ability to work in the agile scrum methodology.
