We are looking for an agile developer with a genuine interest in technology, programming, and scripting to strengthen the Continuous Automation Team (CAT)
CAT is responsible for the continuous integration and automation incl tools within BOS organization. The services are utilized by several organizations across multiple sites.
As a successful candidate you will work within this agile team, interacting with several of our software development teams within the BOS portfolio, to realize improvements and maintain the Continuous Automation environment, incl tools.
The main responsibility for the CAT-team is to provide and maintain automated test and development environments, both in software development pipelines and virtualized environments. The CI/CD environments are used by the BOS products in the daily work from development to customer delivery.
This is done by e.g improving the user environment, providing the necessary tools for the developer, shortening our Continuous Integration lead time via automated jobs to ensure fast feedback loops in general and being the interface towards the IT and test environment organization.

You will bring
A university degree (MSc or BSc) in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
At least 5 years of experience in product development
Excellent skills in communication, both verbal and written
Very good skills in software development
Deep skills in programming in general. Meriting Python, JavaScript, Groovy
Deep experience of Linux systems
Experience in general tools and techniques: e.g. Docker, GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Mesos, MongoDB, MySQL, Gerrit, Kubernetes
A team spirit
Meritorious qualifications:
Troubleshooting skills – which in its turn require to have hands on experience of signaling and platform (HW, Hypervisor, OS, 3PPs and APIs)
Good understanding of infrastructure, networking and IP in general
Experience of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA, web services, REST)
Experience of agile development
