Senior software development engineer

Aurobay is looking for a Senior software development engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with new powertrain control development. You will work as part of a top-performance in-house team with highly skilled people, to create world-class powertrain solutions. We will increase the scope of the Aurobay software from pure engine control and diagnostics to cover powertrain control with functions such as torque distribution between actuators, shift points, and drivability. We are looking for two senior software development engineers who are responsible for developing the drivability software at the powertrain system level for hybrid applications. It will be an exciting journey to build a new team together. You will get engineering tasks that challenge you to continue your technical and personal development with us.

What will you do?

- Responsible for developing and maintaining powertrain control with functions such as torque distribution between actuator, shift points and drivability.

- Build the team competence within the powertrain control area,

- Be a part of the Thermal &Fluids team to support the software development.

- Cooperating, working cross-functional with calibration team, verification team.

Do you fit the profile?

We believe you have B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Mechanical, Physics, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

- At least 3 years relative working experience.

- Develop powertrain control SW in the engine torque distribution between actuators, shift points and drivability.

- Good knowledge of hybrid applications with internal combustion engines

- Experiences of automotive and about process development/leading a project or product development etc.

- Solution-oriented, analytical, driven, ability to see improvement in the process, etc.

- Skill to act as a mentor and could educate new resources in this competence area

- Knowledge about the automotive industry, about programming, about process development,

- Theoretical courses in combustion engines, software programming, and electronics

- Experience in Model-Based Calibration and Optimization of combustion engines

- Good knowledge of shift quality/gear shift pattern and good contact with the transmission suppliers
