FROSTBITE SOFTWARE ARCHITECT
We are looking for an accomplished Software Architect to join the Frostbite architecture team.

As a Software Engieer on the Architecture team, you will:
Diagnose and improve Frostbite to meet the challenges and needs of current shipping titles with hands-on contribution of enhancements, optimizations, and bug fixes.
Work with partners to evolve the architecture of Frostbite to meet future needs.
Participate in the definition, architecture and planning of Frostbite goals and projects including design, dependencies, and value.
Ensure Frostbite has appropriate, living architecture documentation
Establish and help use appropriate design patterns and principles
Promote agreement and awareness of architecture and design across Frostbite
Improve the architecture and design skills on the Frostbite team
Establish and evaluate important non-functional requirements across the product
Ensure the architecture of Frostbite supports an Agile processes and continuous delivery
Create ideas and technologies that are used across the business
Report to the Senior Director of Architecture for Frostbite
You have
A degree in computer science or equivalent, or appropriate industry experience
Programming skills (including C-like languages)
A practical understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns
Worked with of a large, distributed team
7+ years of experience developing and transforming architecture in an Agile environment
It would also be advantageous if you have
Experience of architecture in on of the following:
Large-scale resource limited systems (such as games or virtual environments)
Application software acting on complex data sets (such as Game editors or CAD)
Worked in large-scale Agile environments (such as SAFe)
Games industry experience
Built software libraries, tools or features used by others
Used code refactoring tools at scale
Worked on systems including Rendering or GPGPU work
