Use your software engineering skills to improve education. Our teaching and learning platform is used by more than 500,000 students in over 1000 schools, across 112 countries. Our tech stack is Python, Django and VueJS.
You'll find our engineering culture to be diverse and highly collaborative, with cross-functional teams utilising Scrum, kanban, and pair programming. We work with features in a user-oriented way, not slicing functionality by layers, but by feature. You'll also be involved in the discovery phase, by speaking with customers to understand their true needs.
Listen to our CTO Marcus discuss our engineering culture in this video here.
We continuously improve processes, code and ourselves. We always leave the code better than we found it, we take time to learn and use retrospectives to take small, controlled steps towards a better team.
You’ll work across the stack, with Python being the main tool. Along with 4 other Engineers in our Teaching Squad, your work will empower teachers to find, evaluate and use engaging content to take their teaching to the next level.
