Senior Software Engineer

The position

If so, then we have got a fantastic opportunity for you to become a member of our Platform team with colleagues both in Sweden and Sri Lanka. Our mission is to provide the platform and tooling both for the Cambio customers but also for our application developers to give them great possibilities to create awesome experiences for our customers.

As a senior software engineer in COSMIC Platform, you will be a part of an agile team with product owner and developers improving and refining the technical architecture of the product, making sure that the development aligns with the technical vision of the company and securing scalability, reliability, and availability of the product.

About you

You are a hands-on, technical person with a passion for all stages of software development. You are a mature and responsible team player and can also act as a leader for your team. You have a great interest in technology and are passionate about programming. You understand complex and abstract concepts and you can explain them in an understandable manner. You have a DevOps mindset and always strive for improvement.

Requirements 

- 5+ years hands-on experience in Java or other object-oriented programming languages.

- Experience working with integrations in high-volume distributed systems. 

- Good understanding of service oriented architectures, performance optimization techniques

- Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift or other container platform solutions

- Speaks and writes English fluently

It's a bonus if you have

- Experience in JBoss or similar application servers.

- Experience with Event driven solutions such as Redhat AMQ or Apache Kafka

- Experience with test automation

- Interest to push the DevOps mindset 

- Experience in MSSQL

Place of employment: Linköping or Stockholm
