What you will do

At Volvo Group Digital & IT you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. 
We are bit by bit transforming our monolith solution to a modern cloud native microservice architecture. Your work will be a mix of modernization, development of new functionality according to the new target architecture and some adjustments of the current client.
Your future team
We are one of four product teams developing and maintaining the core application within the product development at Volvo (KOLA) – the heart of Volvo product documentation. We are team members of different background, genders and experiences. We have an open communication and always a helpful mindset. With us, you will take a key role in an agile team, striving for adopting DevSecOps manners.
In our team we have the possibility to work from the office at Lindholmen, Gothenburg every day but also the option to partly work from home.

* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Analytical skills
* Knowledge about security standards
* Deep knowledge in Mainframe & Cobol
* DB2 knowledge
* Integration experience, using MQ


And that you are fluent in English (both speaking and writing), and preferably Swedish as well.

Nice to have.. 
Experience from working with Java development (full stack)
Knowledge in asynchronous programming, microservice architecture, cloud services and test automation frameworks
