Senior Software Engineer

You’ll be part of a team that speaks your language, taking on complex challenges - using some pretty nice tech. Our games are adored by hundreds of millions of people, and you’ll be building them. As well as the engines, systems and platforms that make them play brilliantly on any platform.
Your role within the Kingdom
If you want to create amazing user experiences and entertainment for millions of players to enjoy on the go then this is the right job for you. Together with your colleagues you will have a part in creating and maintaining our mobile casual games. You will specify, design, build and implement existing and new game features and in-game systems. The core part of your work will consist in optimizing the in-level experience of Candy Crush Saga in collaboration with the Product Manager and Data Scientists. As part of the development team you will enjoy a creative, challenging and collaborative environment where your ideas will be every bit as valued as your programming expertise.You would be working with the Core Gameplay of Candy Crush Saga
Your responsibilities will include:
Driving successful end to end delivery trough design, implementation and testing
Taking an active part in impacting the core gameplay experience in Candy Crush Saga
Contributing high quality and well- structured code to our global code base
Assisting colleagues by sharing knowledge through activities such as code reviews, offering direct feedback, and other collaborative efforts
Communicating with other teams in your business unit and enabling alignment between your team and all relevant parties.
Contributing to the investigation and mitigation of live incidents and enabling detection and prevention mechanisms against future issues
Leading the definition of engineering standards, best practices, processes, and ways of working for your team.

You enjoy C++ programming and possess senior-level experience in the field

Bonus points
Previous Android or iOS development experience
You have worked in the gaming industry
Experience in working with memory / performance critical applications
You are well-versed in navigating a complex codebase
Knowledge of Core Gameplay systems
Experience working with backend
Experience working with data
