Senior Software Engineer
Nasdaq Technology is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the RealTime Clearing (RTC) product team.

As a Software Developer your main focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. We are working with an interesting and complex product with very high quality requirements. You will join a highly qualified cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers, Test Engineers, and Project Managers.
In this position youll work with:
Java 8 & 11, ReactiveX, Swagger/OpenAPI, React/Redux, Gradle, Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Sonar

Back-end development and Middleware

What you will be doing:
Developing new complex functionality and maintain the existing codebase in an environment handling large volumes of data and high demands for high availability
Modify existing internal software products to add to new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability
Cover your code with sufficient tests. Our floor is 80% coverage.
You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle; design, implementation, testing, release, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance and enhancement.
Together with the team, you will participate in forming the team structure and improving our agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Contribute with your experience and input to sprint planning, retrospectives and demos.
Give continuous feedback to other developers, architects, testers, as well as Project Managers
What you will bring to the team:
Passion for building great products and delivering to business and customers.
An outgoing and self-driven attitude along with your sense of structure and creativeness.
Several years of experience in developing backend Java applications
Excellent working proficiency in English
Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or software engineering or equivalent.
It would be great if you also have:
Experience from highly complex, distributed and resilient transaction intensive systems.
Knowledge of the capital markets, e.g. clearing, settlement, trading, financial instruments or corporate actions.
Experience building processes with tools/technologies like Gradle, GitLab, Jenkins, Sonar.
