We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer to join our team and help us disrupt the way organizations view talent and make hires.

Alva Labs’ unique candidate assessment platform helps companies build their organizations with the right people in the right place. By combining state-of-the-art psychometrics, data science, and an obsession with candidate experience, it provides the needed tool for data-driven talent acquisition. The platform is built to enable scale and automation through smooth integrations with applicant tracking systems, automated test feedback, and unprecedented ease of use. Through its large focus on candidate experience, Alva also offers the next generation’s talent-centric assessment solution.

We are a team of 50 people, representing over 15 different nationalities, with a wide variety of professional backgrounds. Alva is growing 2-3x per year, serving 200+ customers and 150 000+ candidates.

Why is this role important to us
Our product is the heart and soul of Alva. Now as we focus more and more on Product Lead Growth it will be the driving factor in our growth and expansion. We are also in discovery to start building the next big bet of our service. We need a strong team of engineers and designers that can make all our big plans become reality.

What will you do
- Work as a full-stack engineer and be part of our engineering team’s day-to-day work. The system that you will be working with is described in more detail here (https://www.notion.so/alvalabs/Working-as-a-Software-Engineer-at-Alva-92676a3f5a52451d882b6a281941ba43).
- Collaborate with engineers and designers on the team to build a reliable product that solves our customers’ problems. You will act as a leader within the engineering team and will help other engineers develop.
- Drive technical discussions about, and technical discovery of, changes and new improvements to our product.
- Contribute with your broad technical knowledge to impact both the way we work and our software architecture.

What have you done before
You are an experienced software engineer and have a broad knowledge of building distributed systems. Not necessarily within the same technologies that we are using, although experience with them will be considered beneficial.

Our internal language is English, Swedish is not a requirement for this position.
