Computational Imaging at CellaVision
Fourier Ptychography Microscopy (FPM) is a novel microscopy technology that has the potential to combine a large field of view with high resolution and thereby enable new opportunities in diagnostic microscopy. A newly formed team specializing in computational imaging will enable CellaVision to launch new products utilizing the FPM technology. The team owns and manages a well-defined part of CellaVision's system and is responsible for both developing new products and features. The Computational Imaging Software Engineer will assure that future FPM products are based on state-of-the-art algorithms.
Key tasks of the role
- Keep up to date with research in computational imaging
- Implementation and evaluation of algorithms from the literature
- Responsibility for research collaborations with universities and external partners
- Application development - backend and frontend
- Developing machine learning models
- Optimization of machine learning predictions

To be successful in the role you need to have
- M.Sc. in Engineering Physics or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in computational imaging
- Extensive experience in using deep learning for image processing and analysis
- Experience in collaborative software development in Python and C++/C#
- An ability to transform research results into innovative solutions
- An ability to consider the unknown as an opportunity
- Proficient in English, written and verbal
It is also meritorious if you have
- A Ph.D. or research experience in a related field
- Experience in commercial software development
- Experience in working with large scale storage solutions for images
- Experience in working with hardware and firmware
- Knowledge in any of the Nordic languages
