About the team
Solution Center GTO (Group Trucks Operations) Manufacturing Appointed Solutions is a function in Manufacturing & Logistics Solutions managing, runtime- and one-time deliveries, for the globally appointed and emerging solutions used by GTO’s and UD’s manufacturing of trucks, cabs and powertrains globally. The Solution Center is located in Belgium, India, France and Sweden, and engage close to 300 highly skilled and engaged people.
Initially you will work in the CAPDM project that is an end-to-end change project to implement a new global Customer adaptation process. One of the important deliverables is a new Group IT developed IT system to support a new way of working derived from business needs.
The IT system is using all the latest appointed technologies such as Cloud, micro services etc. The project will run for several years with a long roll out period. After project end, as part of the solution team, you will be working with both Onetime deliveries and Runtime deliveries for this new IT system.
Wanted profile
In this role you will:
Drive for new features in collaboration with product owners and design team i.e., research, design and write new software programs (e.g., business applications)
Build innovative solutions and technologies to improve quality and performance.
Assure know-how and capabilities build-up for software engineer cohort.
Develop detailed designs of applications.
Oversee and maintain all software engineering activities across products/teams.
Responsible for the development of high quality, scalable and maintainable systems using service-oriented architecture.
Write and test code, refining and rewriting it as necessary and communicate with any team member involved in the project.
To be successful as Software Engineer in this role you’ll need:
Proven experience in .Net programming and .net core, preferably development in Visual Studio 2022 and C#
Beneficial with experience in Micro services based on .net Core, Blazor front-end development, Kubernetes and MS SQLserver
Capacity to contribute to the solution architecture design work including database design.
Like to work with architecture and development in the wider context of process analysis; business requirements; problem-solving; and solution verification
