Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Maps Developer Platform to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
Design, develop, and enhance MapKit APIs across multiple platforms, including Native, Web, and Android.
Partner with a diverse range of clients to build impactful mapping solutions, translating their requirements into scalable and reliable code.
Collaborate with Human Interaction Design, Services, and other Engineering and Data teams to integrate Maps seamlessly into the ecosystem.
Drive the ideation, design, implementation, and launch of new features, culminating in announcements at the client’s Developer Conference.
Develop and maintain test tools and test cases, working closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.

What You Bring:
6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong focus on software design and architecture.
Proficiency in functional programming with modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with CI/CD processes, including Docker.
Knowledge of Computer Graphics APIs such as OpenGL, Metal, and WebGL.
Ability to explain complex problems clearly and succinctly.
A passion for working collaboratively and iterating on ideas within a cross-functional team.
Experience in designing and building public APIs.
Skills in contributing to or authoring developer documentation.
