As a Senior Software Engineer within IKEAs Data, Integration & Middleware, Integration Development organization you will work closely with the IKEA user community and our vendors and take active responsibility for realizing our Integration solutions.
You will do this by analyzing the business requirements in relation to the IT requirements, giving feedback on solutions designs and by being part of the team verifying the integration solutions. Your focus will be on planning, scheduling, coordinating across streams/teams, monitoring and communicating status and progress to stakeholders.
You like to work in exciting, multinational projects with stakeholders of different backgrounds, both cultural and work-wise. You are an enthused, agile and convinced person and that constructively challenges established ways of thinking and working.
Your knowledge, skills and experience: 
Strong analytical skills - being able to structure information and derive conclusions and concrete consequences out of them.
Experience in steering IT Projects according to processes and methods for developing, integrating, building and testing of IT systems in a distributed, international environment. 
Experience with Enterprise Integration Suites such as Oracle Fusion Middleware and the development on Cloud Platforms such as GCP and AliCloud. 
Experience with Information Architecture and related modelling methodologies and implementations. 
Good knowledge of general IT frames e.g. standards, infrastructure and platforms, frameworks and development methodologies such as agile and scrum.
Good knowledge of requirement management, test management process as well as understanding of product and service life cycle management.
Good understanding of the heterogeneous architecture of IT Landscapes in a worldwide operating organization and the role of integration in such environment. 
Should feel comfortable setting up DevOps tools and methods - Functional and automated testing, continuous integration and deployment.
Strong ability to communicate, drive business, to lead change and co-operate with both business- as well as technical stakeholders. 
Highly motivated to take responsibility and prepare decision making under complex circumstances. 
Good communication skills in written and spoken English.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main responsibilities as Senior Engineer for this positon will include:
being accountable for delivering quality software reliably, safely and quickly into production, whilst understanding the customer impact and experience of your contribution
To lead the implementation of new integration solutions and improvements of existing integrations 
Stakeholder management and continuous collaboration with related teams
Secure functional and non-functional requirements of Integration solution according to technology, tools, methods and decided strategies.
Ensuring and supporting the implementation of an Enterprise-Wide Data Architecture 
Support the further development of our governance structures and working methods within our Organization. 
Administrate, verify and drive change requests on Solutions and Technical Platforms 
providing support and guidance as needed to other engineers within your development team, encouraging good practices as well as creating an environment based on psychological safety

As a Senior Software Engineer in Data, Integration & Middleware you will work in either of these teams, please state in your application where you would be at your best:
Dig. Business Support & CW Integration; The devops team is working closely with the engineering teams from the People & Business Support domain. This team is responsible for proving best Integration solution and seamless Production support for the Integrations owned by the People & Business Support domain.
Dig. Fulfilment Integration; The Fulfilment domain is the backbone of IKEA Online Sales channel and responsible for proving the robust solution for our customer’s order promising and order fulfilment business areas. The Fulfilment Integration DevOps team is working closely with the engineering teams from the Fulfilment domain. This team is responsible for proving best Integration solution and seamless Production support for the Integrations owned by the Fulfilment domain.
Dig. Customer Integration; The Customer domain is the initial touch point for the Customer Interaction with Ikea. Our mission is to deeply understand the Customer needs, no matter how they interact with Ikea. This dev-ops team is working closely with the engineering teams from the Customer domain. This team is responsible for keeping the lights on, develop effective integrations and modernizing the existing solution with seamless Production support for the Integrations owned by the Customer domain around the Web, Retail Range & Merchandise, Multi Sales Channels etc.,
Dig Cross-company & Business Ventures; The dev-ops team is working with data exchange in various technologies, cross company and cross functionally. This team is responsible for proving best solution and seamless support for the data exchange models between companies.

In this role you will report to an Engineering manager in Data, Integration & Middleware, Integration Development. The role is based in Helsingborg, Sweden.
