Senior Software Engineer to AlgoDx

There is no label for what we do at AlgoDx because no one has built what we are building. We bring AI to intensive care to help save lives and reduce healthcare costs.

Our mission was born in 2018 and now, after a series of successful R&D advances and regulatory milestones, we are heading to market. In this phase we are looking to grow our team with an experienced Senior Software Engineer/Tech lead.



Responsibilities

- Continue develop our platform, as well as lead AlgoDx’s development team in their day-to-day development work.
- Supervise and guide both employed developers and consultants.
- Uphold our quality and performance standards by making reasoned development decisions.
- Work closely with our infrastructure team and be part of architectural decisions.
- Supervise timely and accurate integrations with diverse and sometimes unpredictable hospital data streams, as well as support existing integrations.



Requirements

- Several years of Python experience, enough to feel comfortable supervising and take well-grounded decisions in a development team.
- Proven experience in roles combining programming with team leading.




Experience with modern technologies such as

- Microservice architectures
- NoSQL, time series databases and PostgreSQL
- Elasticsearch
- Modern DevOps tooling and workflows
- Streaming data processing, cleaning, and storage
- VMware.




- Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English



It’s a plus if you also have

- Experience in building technology in a compliant environment, MedTech, Finance, etc.
- Experience with HL7 (FHIR), or other integration experiences
- Come in contact with medical device programming
- Solid understanding of medical informatics.
