Senior Software Quality Engineer

As a Senior Software Quality Engineer you will have a key role in the R&D team and be responsible for ensuring the quality of our business assurance products adapted for the Telecom industry (revenue assurance, fraud management, cost management). Your tasks/responsibilities * Develop test cases and test data sets for our business assurance products * Identify and document product defects as discovered in product testing, qualification, and general use; track and verify their repair * Qualify products for release by inspection and testing of product components Your profile/qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering * Several years experience of software qualification processes and methodology * Strong knowledge in Oracle databases, Sun Solaris /HP UX of operating systems and scripting * Experience from client/server applications * Strong ability to demonstrate analytical capabilities, attention to details, sense of accuracy and urgency, ability to take initiative and posse a strong drive for customers' satisfaction.* Excellent interpersonal communicative abilities, fluent written and oral command of English and Swedish.Since Lavastorm s customers are found all around the world, travels to customer sites as well as to headquarter in Boston will be required.
