Position: Senior Software Quality Engineer
Location: Malmö – Sweden
ADB Safegate is expanding and will now strengthen our Apron R&D department with a Senior Software Quality Engineer!
ADB Safegate provides the technology and solutions that make airports more efficient, safer, and sustainable, and reduce their operational costs. We partner with airports and airlines to evaluate their existing operations, identify bottlenecks, and jointly solve these challenges through integrated solutions that address airport operations from approach to departure. We’re a global company and at our office in Malmö, we are an R&D SW team with different expertise’s. We are in Apron and Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS) with software from embedded systems to server and front-end solutions.
We have started to build our test environment and methods and need to strengthen our team with a Senior Software Quality Engineer who can develop our way of testing, validation, and verification. You should be able to drive and develop our test methods and systems as well as working practically with testing. In short, we need your help to continue improve our test practices, to define new methods for our manual testing and help us to improve automated testing methods for our different systems.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be a member of our software team and with your expertise and know-how you will be a part of the work with improving the quality assurance. Our developers work with different languages, from C++ to Node.js.
You will work closely with our colleagues in other offices around the world. The work is done within the team but includes contact with other departments.

Qualifications & Skills:
Requires at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Computer Science or from a related Engineering discipline.
At least 3-5 years of experience from similar positions.
English (fluent both verbally and in writing)
Experience with test frameworks and test environments.
Experience of test and verification of embedded and/or “real-time” systems as well as Docker Containers.
Experience in automated testing (Cypress, Selenium, etc.)
You should find it interesting to build and improve our software quality assurance.
Meritorious is:
Swedish, German and/or additional languages is an asset.
Experience of different types of testing
Experience in setting up testing in CI/CD pipelines
Good knowledge of C++ or Python
Different programming languages for test frameworks
