Senior Solution Architect IOT

Your role

You will be a member of the expert team for Industry 4.0 Center of Excellence. You will collaborate with our business areas in defining I4 use cases. You will contribute in the Strategy and technology/application selection in accordance to the I4 reference architecture. You will lead the implementation of IoT capabilities between the IT and OT layer in manufacturing operations. You will work in teams in close collaboration with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Data Architects/Engineers etc. You will occationally lead such teams in the implementation phase of projects.

Job responsibilities:

* Translating Saab business requirements into technical specifications such as design and implementation specifications
* Contribute to IoT projects in designing and implementing Smart Manufacturing capabilities
* You will be part of deployment projects of new IoT solutions to secure the integration through the connectivity gateway up to the IoT platform
* You will collaborate with platform Architect lead and Enterprise Architect to design and maintain the IoT solutions

Your profile

Required skills:

* You have minimum 5 years of experience of IoT products and you love designing IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions
* University degree in Computer Science or similar
* You are experienced on IoT solution deployments over the full (or main part of the) value chain
* Security "By Design" is an important keyword for you
* Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will report to the head of "Digital Solutions & Analytics". This section delivers tailored IT-services to Saabs business and have the responsibility of realizing such capabilities according to business roadmap and targets.

Your location can be flexible (Järfälla, Linköping, Huskvarna, Malmö, Karlskrona or Göteborg) but travelling between Saab locations in Sweden will be required.
