Create finance solutions for a better living

As Sourcing Manager you will work close together with key internal stakeholders, other Sourcing Managers and suppliers. You will work with sourcing projects. It is important to stay agile and flexible so we can direct focus towards our biggest opportunities and challenges, wherever they may be. Key focus will be to service the business and our stakeholders in getting the services and products they need, for a competitive price. And further to enable measurable cost saving, as our most important KPI.

The position is based within the Sourcing department at the Ikano headquarter in Hyllie, Malmö. From there we support Ikano Bank in all its markets – all Nordic countries, Germany and UK. We aim to work on sourcing projects that covers all markets, to consolidate and simplify our supplier base, but individual characteristic in the individual markets means we also work on local sourcing projects. Some traveling may be required.

Sourcing is a central department in Ikano, with dedicated professionals working with category management, sourcing projects, contract management and supplier management.

Key responsibilities

• Leading our effort to reduce Ikano Bank´s spend on global and regional level by professionalize sourcing, increase business value and challenge demand
• Arrange, review and lead sourcing negotiations
• Negotiate contracts incl. applicable changes for IT/Digital-outsourcing arrangement and other Indirect Material sourcing contracts
• Represent Ikano’s interests and interface directly with supplier in contract negotiations
• Identify, drive and structure areas and transactions to be most advantageous from a contracting and business perspective
• Interpret contracts and specifications and explain contract terms to co-workers
• Communicate, coordinate, consult and liaise with stakeholders to achieve effective contractual management of rights and obligations;
• Act as Sourcing escalation point for potential contractual disputes e.g. for the outsourcing arrangement and in relation to license verification/audit matters;
• Support and enforce the sourcing process, commercial and contractual awareness throughout the organization.
• Develop and maintain long range Sourcing plans together with Category development
• Provide reporting, insights, innovation and recommendation to internal stakeholders and management
• Building bridges and ensure alignment between business and Sourcing-ensure early engagement
• Work on continuous improvements for the Sourcing function

Required skills and qualifications:

• University or bachelor´s degree in preferably legal or other relevant training, with strong business administration experience
• Ability to build relationships, trust, confidence and buy-in throughout the organization to execute sourcing strategy and projects
• Strong written and verbal competence, listening, interpersonal, consensus building and facilitation skills
• Extensive experience in tough and difficult negotiations
• Ability to understand supplier market dynamics and key indicators and how to leverage opportunities
• Financial acumen, ability to apply a broad understanding of financial management principals and other quantitative information to ensure decisions are fiscally responsible and based on budget
• Result oriented
• Ability to work under pressure
• Persistence and diligence to details
