Senior Sourcing Manager for O&M Wind procurement

We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager for O&M Wind procurement for one of our clients in the Wind Industry.

The role and qualification for the consultant supporting the O&M Procurement Team is to drive and own commercial aspects when leading negotiations of contracts and/or frameworks for our clients wind assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Negotiation of agreements or framework agreements such as Service and Maintenance Agreements, labour/repair work, inspections, logistics, materials to support our clients growing wind assets.

- Developing and implementing procurement strategies for relevant wind O&M projects.

- Building relationships with suppliers and our client’s wind organization.

- Lead and drive tendering activities including, tendering, evaluation, negotiation and preparing contract award decisions for O&M wind projects, ensuring best value and compliance with the objectives and principles.

- Collaborate with stakeholders ( in Generation and supply chain) to align and drive negotiation of contracts.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

- A relevant University degree or equal, with a minimum of over 7 years of experience working with procurement and 3 years in O&M procurement projects, preferably renewables, oil and gas, or similar complex industries;

- Significant experience in driving procurement projects in an international environment.

- Excellent negotiation skills on standards forms of contract.

- Fluency in English, both verbally and written.

- Good understanding of people and culture working across multiple business functions and locations.

- Co-operative team player with solid interpersonal skills.

- Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to perform and travel during peak periods.
