Job Description
The main objective will be to source services and solutions according to the company’s needs at the best achievable Cost, Quality, Delivery and Sustainability while considering the latest available Technology.
You will be part of aligning the company’s needs across multiple functions in order to cooperate and drive the tender processes. You will also lead supplier negotiations, present results in decision boards and conclude commercial agreements to create the best value for Scania. This is often in close cooperation with Traton and Volkswagen and active participation in the different internal stakeholder organizations is necessary to reach the best results and to make a difference.
We seek a Senior Sourcing Manager to join our team and to take on the strategically important category of Services for Scania. In this role you will be responsible to lead and further developing the category and continuously improving the current way of working cross-functionally with our internal stakeholders.
This job also gives a great opportunity to get in touch with new technologies and new business models while at the same time enabling initiatives for a lot of different improvement opportunities within the team and at Scania.
Your profile
We believe that you are passionate about the work as a purchaser and that you have several years of previous experience from it or from a related business area as well as a university degree. If you have experience from purchase of Services it is a strong merit.

• Enjoys coaching and mentoring colleagues within the area
• Feel comfortable presenting business cases in a top management meeting
• Are a great teammate and have natural leadership skills
• Are comfortable studying agreements of different kinds

• Are communicative, creative and solution-orientated
It would also be great if you like to work independently while having great social skills with the ability to develop and maintain a broad network of supplier contacts as well as interfaces within Scania and the Group.
