Senior Sourcing Managers

IT Sourcing within Sandvik IT provides expertise in finding the best value from Sandviks IT suppliers. We prepare, lead and manage sourcing projects and activities, and support the organization in optimal use of contracts. To strengthen our support for the business areas, we are now looking for two Senior Sourcing Managers, with different focus areas, to influence and participate in sourcing strategies and high exposure projects. This position is to be located in Sandviken or Kista.

Job Summary
As Senior Sourcing Manager you lead and participate in sourcing projects and activities, including supplier selection and creation of contracts. You ensure that established category strategies are implemented and adhered to, and you support the contract owners by ensuring that the contract is understood, utilized and developed in the most efficient way and in compliance with internal and external policies, guidelines, regulations and laws. Identifying, proposing, preparing and leading sourcing projects and activities are an important part of your job, as is creating contracts related to internally managed sourcing projects and activities. You work to ensure a correct balance between service-related and commercial aspects of the contract. In this role, you also establish excellent relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.

Some travel will be required.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Purchasing, IT and/or Finance, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience. You are a skilled negotiator and you have at least five years relevant commercial experience within purchasing, supply, production, sales and/or finance and project management. For one of the Sourcing Manager positions, you need experience in purchasing IT services, and for the other, you need experience and knowledge from IT architecture and infrastructure. Experience from outsourcing is preferred, as is ITIL certification. As we operate in a global environment, your English skills are excellent, both verbally and in writing, while skills in Swedish are advantageous.
