Senior Specialist Electric Drive

CEVT looking for a passionate new member to join our team, is it you?

We are looking for you with knowledge within electric drive and electric drive unit development to support us in future mobility projects. CEVT is currently increasing our competence in designing complete drive units as advanced engineering projects and need to expand with a senior specialist within the inverter area.

This is what you will do

Our Propulsion team consists of 4 XFTs, System, Mechanics, Electric Machine and Electronics and you will work in the electronics team. Together the XFTs work in different phases of our projects, industrialization, advanced engineering and research. Your contribution in the electronics team will be to help optimizing our solutions to best fit the customer needs. You will generate, explore, evaluate and finally push ideas into industrialization, ideas that shall be beneficial for the end customer. Typically, these ideas relate to increased efficiency, more dense and cost effective solutions as well as ideas for a smooth and pleasant ride. You will be working closely together in the teams, with suppliers and our colleagues in China. We work in an agile environment with planning the deliveries, execute in sprints and with daily meetings in the teams.

Suitable background and experiences

This is a senior role and we are looking for you who has a solid background within Electric drives and Inverter HW:

- Holistic system approach
- Be able to work in concepts and early phases of projects
- Broad knowledge of inverter HW in automotive environments e.g. efficiency calculations, EMC, durability, cooling, SW controls, assembly and NVH.
- Broad knowledge within power electronics design and sensors
- Extensive knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
- Experience from feasibility studies and system set-up in early phases
- Fluent in English (Speaking/Writing)
- Driver’s license B
- You also are skilled within Software, CAE and IT: Openfoam and Ansys, Simulink, PSIM/PLECS, SPICE
