About SAF-Holland Way
With SAF-Holland group acquiring and integrating Haldex the objective is to establish one framework for operations, the “SAFH Way”, for the purpose of developing capabilities and improving performance to deliver operations result objectives.
Within SAF-Holland operations, there are currently different frameworks in different production plants and regions. Ranging established ones with a long and successful track record, to more recent initiatives with varying progress and result.

The Senior Specialist role
The Senior Specialist assignment is to develop, coordinate and administer the global SAFH Way framework content for purposeful implementation and application by regions and plants. Including methods, projects, and programs improving operative leadership, capabilities, and performance.
Acting as coach and business enabler that instigate and support operations management and organization how to develop capabilities and improve performance, the Senior Specialist collaborate extensively with a regional operations and plant management together with an integrated network of part-time SAFH Way managers. The role is part of global operations, reporting directly to VP SAFH Way.
It is a global role, based at the SAF-Holland site in Landskrona in Sweden or Bessenbach in Germany, with up to 50% travel for onsite engagements and initiatives at different SAF-Holland plants.
Qualifications and profile
To be successful in the role we believe you need more than 5 years of practical experience of using and implementing operational excellence and lean production methodology successfully, in a senior operations management role. Preferably internationally and in the automotive industry, or similar.
The role requires extensive expertise with an in-depth understanding of operational excellence and lean methodology. With the ability to fluently transition between theory, concept, and practice.
We expect you to be, and act, as a business enabler and change agent. With effective program and project management capabilities, as well as the skills to coach and train employees on all levels.
You communicate comfortable and fluently in verbal and written English, daily in an international setting. If you also speak German, it is as strong merit.
To qualify for the role, you have a university master’s degree in production systems, engineering or business, or equivalent work experience and training.
