About this opportunity
The DNEW NSV Products & Production Architecture (PPA) systems team is responsible for 5G product definition, evolution, delivery and systems-level support. The broad range of responsibilities covers the RAN solution built from products in the Ericsson Radio System; including RAN compute central and distributed baseband units, radios, interconnect, transport and RAN functions to ensure that we have the SW and HW architectures vital to realize Ericsson's long term strategic direction. The NSV PPA responsibility also covers the systemization of the RAN SW production architecture.
We are looking for a Senior Specialist in Standardized LLS (Lower Layer Split) Architectures to join our RAN Architecture team. The role involves representing Ericsson in Open Fronthaul standardization work.
What you will do
Represent Ericsson by a driving role in LLS standardization work, involving interactions with customers, competitors, and partners
Take an active part in LLS interface systemization
Contribute to Ericsson LLS technology and RAN strategy alignment
Teach, coach, and mentor colleagues on the different aspects of the domain
Stay updated on key industry trends, academic research, and technology development in the domain and disseminate acquired knowledge across the organization
Build and maintain a professional and international network of peer technology authorities within and outside Ericsson
You will bring
Master / Bachelor of Science or equivalent, with related work experience
Demonstrated ability in systems specification in the telecommunication field or related experience
Experience in crafting and delivering radio access network architectural solutions
Experience in baseband L1-L2 design
Experience in standardization work
Ability to work in teams. Experience working in multi-site, multi-cultural work groups
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to deal with uncertainty
