You will work within one or several categories responsibility for strategic suppliers, meaning commercial responsibility to secure optimized business solutions for Modig Machine Tool. You will work through the complete procurement process responsible for your supplier performance and support to the organization to achieve best possible result.
Main chores but not limited are supplier negotiations, supplier development and supplier evaluation. To actively work with cost optimization, coordinate operational purchasing activities within your category for ongoing customer projects and R&D activities

To be successful we believe you have
More than 5 years of experience from a global strategic procurement function related to Industrial products.
A proven record within KPI:S such as cost , quality and delivery improvement
High analytical skills and drive for development .
A strategic and solutions approach with great entrepreneurship.
A stress resistant prestige less team player with a great target focus.
A high level of technical understanding and interest.
A technical or business university degree alternatively equivalent acquired knowledge.
Excellent skills in spoken and written English.



It is advantageous if you have experience from the mechanical manufacturing industry and knowledge of working with Monitor G4 ERP system.
