The role
We are now introducing a senior Strategy Program Manager within supply chain to act as an independent, senior leader, advisor, and orchestrator. You will be able to utilize autonomy to make decisions and create innovative operational solutions new to Cepheid. Responsibilities of the role are


Taking ownership of programs, influence leadership, set strategy, and drive those programs until completion and handoff.
Lead and own critical greenfield programs across Cepheid’s operations. Projects will be high priority for Cepheid leadership and high impact on the company globally. Initial programs include establishing vital partner logistics programs from a baseline of zero or establishing and expanding operating sites, including standardizing processes, contracts, cross functional collaboration, and initial production build.
Connect with audiences and communicate with clarity, including Cepheid and Danaher leadership, to share concepts, problem statements, execution plan, program status, and recognition.
Facilitate process enhancement methodologies across teams and functions through approved programs and projects
Develop and facilitate organizing and conducting relevant, concise, data driven, professional presentations
Management of large-scale programs with standard PMP protocols and project management practices, tools, and methodology to achieve unique objectives within budget and timelines.
Enable results through facilitation and communication of analytics, charter, process, activities, decisions, and change.
Implement continuous improvement through Daily Management, Standard Work, Kaizen, Problem Solving, Value stream, Heijunka, and Gemba.
Ensure ethical behavior without exception and compliance within a regulated industry
Travel of 10-20%

Qualifications
We believe that you have a Master’s degree with at least 8 years of related work experience in combination with the following


Strong educational credentials (MBA preferred), paired with Consulting, Entrepreneurial, or Functional Supply Chain leadership.
PMP certification or formal Project Management training.
Expert Power Point knowledge to enable concise data driven communication.
High level of knowledge and experience in Excel for required analytics.
Flexible, influential, and highly capable individual contributor with a breadth of supply chain disciplines, experienced in technical and business methods to solve complex challenges for a scaling global business.
Proven track record of successfully supporting leadership, setting strategy, owning global programs, creating new solutions, and driving results across a variety of business expansion initiatives.
Broad expertise in multiple supply chain disciplines, accompanied by expert knowledge and functional management experience in Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and others.
Strategy deployment experience.
Strong eye for business with experience leading or advising high-growth or fast-paced companies requiring novel operational programs.
Self-driven leadership with ability to lead by influencing complex teams across geographic and business unit boundaries including the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, to resolve conflicts, and to manage problems.
