Senior Supplier Manager

We are looking for a Senior Supplier Manager, who will lead category procurement strategies, from strategy definition to strategy implementation and execution, manage supply base and take active part in strategic projects and initiatives.
In this role you will be an individual contributor who will act as leader for a group of purchasing categories to ensure the strategies are defined and aligned across the organisation globally. You will be coordinating a team of stakeholders to ensure the business needs are captured and translated into strategic action carried within the categories, with strategic and preferred suppliers, often with synergies with corporate strategic initiatives.
The overall value to deliver is to ensure the supply base selected for the category deliver in time, in quality and with high focus on saving opportunities to impact both bottom line and top line of the company.
There is a high level of autonomy and cross-cultural interactions, which makes the role very dynamic.
You will be based in Lund, Sweden.
You may be required to travel abroad up to 20% of your time.

What you will do
As Senior Supplier Manager you will:
Ensure definition, deployment and successful implementation of categories strategies within the area of responsibility.
Drive supplier selection and development in accordance with commodity strategy, risk management, global process and new technology/product requirements.
Secure and maintain a supplier base in line with business requirements.
Ensure supplier agreements reflect current and future business needs in terms of quality, availability and competitive cost of components.
Coordinate activities with main stakeholders, participate and/or drive strategic initiatives to deliver supply performance improvement QCD



Who you are?
We believe you have:
· Supplier management / Procurement background with 5 to 10 years of experience in strategic category management
· Fluent knowledge of English, Swedish language is considered a plus
· Experience in packaging and OEM sector
· Highly dynamic attitude with focus on problem solving and cross-functional collaboration as well as you have a good level of OEM market awareness
· Result oriented mindset and capability to organise autonomously the work to meet deadlines and address roadblocks
· Capability to interact with corporate structures and relevant decision forums
· Capability to deal with uncertainty and changing market dynamics
