The CCRM team, Cost- Capacity- and Risk Management, is looking for a new committed team member interested in further developing our Supply Chain Risk Process at Purchasing to make sure we are always one step ahead and able to proactively mitigate upcoming risks and working according to long term scenarios. The work we do has a great impact on the bottom line of Scania. The CCRM team makes sure all risks, short to long-term, that might have an impact on Scania’s ability to deliver on customer promises are handled in a swift and professional manner. We are currently in an intensive period with many challenges, many of them dealt with globally and often together within the TRATON and Volkswagen groups.
Responsibilities
As the senior supply chain risk manager in our team, you will be responsible for making sure our risk management strategic plan and projects progress according to plans. You will also be leading two colleagues in their operational work. This means running, as well as optimizing, our methods and processes and leading improvement assignments. You will also have an operational responsibility to follow up, report and deliver according to targets.
Focus is on coordinating project plans and resources, and setting targets on strategic assignments. You will in many issues be the link between Purchasing and Corporate Risk Management at Scania. You will be given the opportunity to take part in conferences, events, and seminars with a focus on risk internally as well as outside of Scania. New requests need to be handled with available resources and ongoing assignments in mind. The work is carried out in close collaboration with resources within the department and cross-functional partners from all parts of Scania, TRATON, and Volkswagen Groups.

You
We believe you are an engineer or business graduate with experience in supply chain risk management and project management, preferably with working experience from cross-functional supply chain activities within Scania and/or TRATON. You express an interest in issues related to proactive scenario building, purchasing, and logistics. You should have a focus on results and a strong ability to take initiative. Further, you like to handle multiple parallel activities and have the ability to look ahead and think proactively. Being able to handle all details whilst maintaining a holistic view is absolutely vital.
You like maintaining relationships and enjoy having many contacts within different parts of the organization, both at Scania and with our owners.
As the role involves a large international network, you will need to be proficient in both written and spoken English. Swedish is an advantage as well as other language skills. Proficiency in German and Portuguese is a merit. We value diversity.
