Senior Supply Planner

ValueOne is looking for a Senior Supply Planner for an assignment at a pharmaceutical company north of Stockholm. The assignment is to start shortly and is expected to last for at least six months.

The role

As Senior Supply Planner you will be part of a purchasing team consisting of three Supply Planners reporting to the Head of Supply. The team is responsible for purchasing products to the warehouse securing a high service level to customers in combination with keeping inventory at healthy levels. Most purchases flows via the central planning function.

Main tasks:

Work closely with the Demand Manager to understand the forecasts.
Plan and follow up purchase orders.
Manage inventory for “your” part of the portfolio.
Maintain master data including safety stock levels.
Work with the commercial organization and corporate sourcing to secure the most optimal ordering quantities.
Work with new product introduction projects, artwork and packaging changes and phase out discontinued products.
Analyze the portfolio (stock turnover, service level).

Experience and competence

We are looking for a skilled operational purchaser with at least two years two years of work life experience in a relevant role. You will be working in an industry that is seasonal and campaign driven therefore it is important that you have knowledge from working in such an environment. The role also requires education on a post-secondary level within an adequate field. Good understanding of logistics and proficiency in Excel is a must as well as fluency in English in writing and speech. Experience from working in pharmaceutical and/ or FMCG is an advantage as well as knowledge in SAP.
