About this opportunity
Ericsson’s Packet Core products are growing on the market and our customers are now in the transition to 5G. Due to this, we need to strengthen our Customer Support team working with our 4G products Evolved Package Gateway (EPG) and Mobility Management Entity (MME) and the new 5G products Packet Core Controller (PCC) and Packet Core Gateway (PCG).
Do you have a passion for troubleshooting, finding the root causes, and solutions to sophisticated technical problems? Do you enjoy being the key technical person that many depend on to fix urgent customer problems?
Then you might be the perfect candidate to join our team as a Customer Support Engineer!
What you will do
Support our customers around the globe by finding solutions to their problems and answers to their questions.
Be part of the Emergency team with the mission to quickly restore customer networks in case of service impacting problems.
Work in tight collaboration with the local Ericsson teams, support teams for other products, and with the SW Developers to solve problems and make our products the best on the market.
Be given time and opportunities for constant competence development through courses, sharing sessions, training, and rotations to make sure you stay up to date with the technology development.

You will bring
Experience in working with Mobile Packet Core products (PCC, PCG, EPG, MME, GGSN, SGSN).
Experience troubleshooting end-two-end complex Packet Core product or Mobile Network issues.
An understanding on Virtual and Cloud Native deployments.
Be comfortable in a Linux/Unix environment and have a keen understanding of IP protocols and IP-based routing.
Enjoy being the key technical person that many depend on to fix urgent customer problems.
A great teammate with good communications skills, and proficiency in English.
