Senior Surface Designer - Digital Modelling Exterior Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Surface Designer to join Exterior Class-A Surfacing team within automotive industry. As a Senior Surface Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the late phases of the design process, translating sketches, rough Alias models, and scan data into impeccable exterior surface models. Your collaboration with designers, studio engineers, and suppliers will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of the product design vision.

Key responsibilities
• Develop high-quality exterior surface models using ICEM Surf/Alias software.
• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and suppliers to refine and finalize design concepts.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of designs and maintain Class-A quality standards throughout the modeling process.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design process through innovative thinking and problem-solving.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in written form, to articulate design concepts and technical requirements.

About you
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Class-A modeling within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in ICEM Surf/Alias and other relevant software tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive design principles and technical requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in exterior surface modeling.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
