Senior Surface Designer - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Surface Designer who is experienced in class-A modelling within the automotive business and have excellent skills in Icem Surf/Alias for the digital modelling.

What you'll do:
● Responsible for creating digital design models (DSM) and visualisations in close cooperation with project managers, designers, studio engineers, suppliers, and to ensure that product design has a competitive IT environment.
● Create supporting artwork that illustrates design concepts and Create new, as well as use existing CADs to demonstrate concepts.
● Develop exterior surface models in the late phases of the design process.
● Deliver DSM in the late phases of the design process (Class-A Surfacing), covering the last internal DSM gates of the programs.
● Responsible for creating digital design models (DSM) and visualisations in close cooperation with project managers, designers, studio engineers, suppliers, and to ensure that product design has a competitive IT environment.
Who you are:
● Have good sense of form, ability to build models with class-A quality and a “nothing is impossible attitude” is required.
● 6+ years of experience from class-A modelling within the automotive business.
● Know the technical prerequisites, and experience from both interior and exterior modelling is a merit.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
● Highly detail oriented, and able to manage large amounts of critical design tools to ensure product accuracy.
