Senior System Administrator / Opera Mini

Opera Software is seeking an excellent Senior System Administrator to work with the server side of the Opera Mini product. You will be on a team of highly qualified UNIX systems Administrators, working with system administration, troubleshooting and operating large-scale high availability Linux systems. Responsibilities - Lead the operations of a service with millions of daily users - Large scale high availability Linux cluster maintenance - Plan, manage and take part in development and deployment of the service - Working closely with customers such as international telecom carriers - Writing documentation - Service monitoring - Maintaining operational excellence Requirements - Knowledge about Linux - Knowledge about load balancing solutions - Experience with e.g. Juniper or Cisco routers - Experience as a UNIX System Administrator - The ability to communicate in English (both written and oral) - Extensive experience with high availability solutions - Experience with project management
