Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a Senior Specialist at Ericsson R&D to be part of the MTAS (Multimedia Telephony Application Server) product development team. Your role will include all development activities such as requirement analysis and system/architecture/software design. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize (in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

You will
Drive strategic technical leadership across MTAS
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling
Collaborate with the Customer Units to get a clear understand of the features required to be delivered
Actively engage with MTAS development teams across sites for the E2E development of these features
Develop competence in the technical domain
Report to Manager of MTAS Development Unit


To be successful in the role you must have
Master’s degree in engineering, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent
Around 12 to 15 years of overall experience in software development and architecture
Domain experience: Knowledge of IMS, Voice over LTE (VoLTE) specifications, SIP, 3GPP etc
Solid work ethic, customer focus, ability to work in teams and passion for delivering world-class solutions
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
Good business understanding
An ability to work with diverse teams across geographies
Innovating, adapting and responding to change skills
Determination to deliver results to meet customer expectations
Planning and Organizing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
