Senior System Architect Dedicated Networks Characteristics(692644)

Dedicated Networks is a part of Business Area Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) which ventures well beyond the traditional boundaries of Ericsson’s core business. Our mission is to provide a complete Private 5G offering to Enterprise customers direct, through Communication Service Providers (CSP) as well as through channel partners. We do this by leveraging Ericsson state of the art Radio and Core products combined with own R&D as well as third party integration and the full range of IT cloud components avilable for a full solution.
The Private 5G area is being established as a market segment from green field and forecasted with rapid growth to significant volume in the 2022-2025 timeframe. This is done with the outspoken intent to run with a healthy margin from start and move rapidly with an lightweight and agile way of working.

We are currently expanding our Systems & Technology unit for which we need a Senior System Architect who spans multiple areas in our product and takes responsibility for Characteristics, Dimensioning and Packaging of EP5G.
Beyond the design facing responsibillitys there is also a large component in support of RFQ with product management towards customers and the automation of dimensioning for the bid process with Dedicated Network sales and other functions across Ericsson.

As a Senior System Architect you will take the role as authority in your domain and guide the development in sync with Product Management, Customers, Technology advancements and R&D development teams.

You will
Contribute to the architectural vision for Dedicated Networks
Be involved in Senior stakeholders management activities
Handle Cross Business Area (BA) requirements
Be peering with Product Management team and customers.
Mentor our development team leads and work close to our Stream Leads


To be successful in the role you must be/have
Knowledgable broadly in Telecom systems as well as Ericsson portfolio components and 3GPP in general.
Excellent capability at describing a technical Architecture as well as communicating around it and bringing it to realization.
Good understanding of DevOps and Agile Development setup.
Solid background as developer with a product delivery focus.
Preferably well connected in the Ericsson Systems, Product and Development community.
Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar
A User Experience (UX) driven design attitude as well as a generally positive overall attitude towards challenges which there will be plenty of.
