Join us as Senior System Designer within the new Power Electronic ART. We are responsible for the development of state of the art power electronic system solutions from on-board chargers to DC/DCs.
The newly created Power Electronics ART will deliver power electronics for all derivatives of electric propulsions within Vehicle Propulsion. This includes development of Electric Drive inverters, on-board chargers and DC/DCs from concept to industrialization phase. 

What you will do
We are now looking for a Senior System Designer to strengthen the DCDC team working towards present and future platforms. The position will be part of a dedicated and strong team consisting of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, System Designers and HW designers. You will work in close collaboration with other groups within and outside the ART to realize the requirements further to create quality products. 

You as Senior System Designer will be part of an engineering team that develop engineering systems solutions for on-board chargers (OBC) and DC/DC which fulfil requirements and manufacturing process demands within decided cost and time frames.

Your key tasks
The position of Senior System Engineer means responsibility for the charging/DCDC system solution in the car, which is result of deep discussion and collaboration with different attribute and function owners.

The System Engineer is responsible to develop a system fulfilling the agreed system solution within the project. Your main role on this position is to assure that solution comply with all agreed requirements by function owners, legal and insurance requirements and other attribute owners.

Creating roadmaps for future platform and follow market trends in the industry are also important in this role.

You and your skills
•    MSc or several years of relevant experience
•    System management experience, i.e. HW and SW development within automotive industry 
•    Fluent in English (written and spoken)
•    Driver’s license (B)

Meritorious experience
•    Experience from agile development
•    Experience from FMEA
•    Experience from Power electronic systems
•    Experience from ISO 26262
•    Driver’s license (B)

Who are you?
You are passionate about cars, both from a customer and technical point of view. You have a high level of engagement and a strong enthusiasm. It is crucial to be good at cross-functional work and networking, since collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be part of your daily work, hence you need to possess great communication and cooperation skills. You need to be structured and have good organizational skills, in order to support and guide the development in desired direction.
