Principal Expert of 5G Industry Security Standards and Research (Core Network) in Germany


5G security is one of the most important topics in 5G network evolvement, and 5G industry security is one of key technology areas in 5G network enabler.
You will play the leading role in this 5G industry security CCN (Cloud Core Network) team, building the team responsible for standards and research on technologies for future 5G industry security.
Role and Responsibilities
 Responsible for external communication with operators, standards organizations and national security institutes, track the security technology trends/directions in the industry and insight and identify the key security requirements and potential opportunities and challenges in the industry regarding policy, 5G, AI, etc. within the security domain to the Core Network Product.
o Investigate and identify the 5G industry (e.g. industrial manufacture) security and certification requirements from major operators in Europe.


o Investigate and identify the requirements, key technologies and standards in Europe industry security and trustworthiness from industry alliances, e.g. 5G-ACIA and 5GAA.


o Investigate and identify the requirements of EU government security regulations on 5G industry.


 Lead the team to research and contribute to major Standardization Developing Bodies or EU industry alliance (e.g. ETSI NFV SEC/Cyber, 5G-ACIA, 5GAA, GMSA, etc.) in both telecom and industry, and identify and bridge the standardization gaps between the two.


 Build collaborations with European universities on the research and innovation of key technologies in 5G industry security.


Qualifications and Experience Requirements
 Solid background in telecom and industry and proficiency in security standards of telecom and industry.
 Five years’ security working experience in major EU Standardization Developing Bodies or EU industry alliance or EU/National projects. Experience as leading roles is preferred.
 Ten years’ security working experience in telecom and/or industry is preferred.
