Description
For our automotive customer we are looking for a Senior system testing engineer to work within Computing Architecture department that is responsible for the vehicle’s entire electrical architecture
design regarding topology, logic architecture, vehicle mode management, function allocation and
base technologies.
We need to strengthen the team with additional test resources. As a tester in the team you will work
closely with the concept owners to develop and maintain design verification methods, prepare tests,
and execute them. The tests performed in the team varies from integration tests of hardware and
software in the full system (in vehicles or box cars) to basetech system testing, vehicle mode
management tests and function tests.
Tasks
• Keep updated on standards and Develop and maintain test scripts and test specifications for
Network and communication concepts.
• Base technology test tool support.
• Provide test support internally and to suppliers. Assess deviations.
• Support test engineers at cooperation partners
• Perform Network and communication system test in rigs and cars at CEVT.
• Perform Vehicle Mode Management tests
• Perform function tests
• Support with fault tracing in vehicles and test rigs
• Log files analysis.
Qualifications
• Good knowledge of in vehicle electrical systems in general.
• Deep knowledge in communication protocols (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, LVDS, LIN)
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent area.
• Vector tools experience.
• Test automation knowledge.
• Experience from AUTOSAR specifications and architecture.
• Experience from Volvo Cars SPA Platform or CEVT CMA/GEEA2 platform is an advantage.
• Excellent English skills, Experience from SystemWeaver is meriting, Experience of Vector tools (e.g. CANoe) is highly meriting
