Senior System Verification Engineer

As a Senior System Verification Engineer, within the u-blox R&D organization, you have an important role together with colleagues who design, develop, and verify software for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules to make Internet of Things become a reality. We are working with IP-based services, cloud services, network and product security, and applications based on WLAN and Bluetooth BR/EDR/low energy communication.
You are responsible for the verification of products containing releases of our uConnectXpress software. This means to test our different Wi-Fi and Bluetooth standalone modules and deliver release test reports to the project manager. You will also be an important person to improve our way of working regarding verification of requirements and the definition of test specifications. You have previous experience of embedded software testing within network communication or have a great interest to learn and grow your skills in Internet of Things technology.
You will be the first step of building up a system verification team but as a starter work within a development team. If you have an interest to develop your verification skills further, then test automation in C#/Python is an option. You are a Senior Engineer or have a couple of years' experiences. Your Responsibilities
Take ownership of the uConnectXpress release test and the test reporting
Product firmware update testing
Issue management in Jira
Responsible for hardware reference modules used for release/regression testing
Report to the product project manager and tech lead
Lead and coordinate a quality release meeting
Requirement management tasks
Your Skills and ExperienceCollege education as Verification Engineer or a University degree in Engineering
At least 3 years of experience in verification
Proficient in testing tools, issue reporting, documentation
Wireless knowledge in general
Good interpersonal skills. Be able to collaborate with internal and external partners.
Great communication skills. At ease with developer interaction
English written and spoken (company’s language)
Holder of Swedish work permit
