What’s in it for you?
In our department within Safe Vehicle Automation we are around 140 ambitious and highly skilled engineers creating tomorrow’s platform solutions for our active safety and self-driving vehicles. Our Agile Release Train (ART) Autonomous Drive & Advanced Driver Assistance System Platform develops the complete sensor and software platform for functions such as collision avoidance, automatic parking, autonomous driving. Included in our responsibility is design and verification of state-of-the-art LiDARs, ultrasonic sensors, cameras and radars.
At Vision Platform we have an ambitious automotive camera vision roadmap that bring together our agile teams in close collaboration with our suppliers, stakeholders and other development teams.  We are now looking for verification engineer to one of our teams.
What you will do
We want curious and open-minded team players with a "bring-it-on" mindset to be part of our agile development team. As a verification engineer working on our automotive camera-based platforms, your main focus will be to perform sensor performance verification as well as  establish verification infrastructure for our platform containing embedded and distributed SW. You are expected to define, develop and implement automated test cases to secure system completeness throughout development and maintenance phases. As we are also an agile team, you will be expected to contribute to other product development activities related to Vision Platform.

Do you fit the profile?
To be the right person in this role we see that you have a Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree within electronics, mechatronics, software engineering, data sciences or similar. 
Any of the following is deemed meritorious:
* Knowledge or experience of agile way of working
* Experience working with automotive vision platforms or vision-based embedded systems, involving IR or ToF cameras and AUTOSAR
* Experience in modern automotive diagnostic framework
* Experience in SW containerization tools
* Experience in simulation, logging and analysis tools (CANoe/Canalyzer, Wireshark, or similar)
* Working knowledge of UNIX OS and ethernet communication protocols (eg. TCP/IP, SSH)
* Programming skills (any of these: Python/C/C++/CAPL/ Linux bash or similar)
* Drivers’ licence (B, valid in EU)

As for your personal qualities, we see that you are a driven, methodical and resourceful team player who can deliver the "how" and "what" in dynamic multidisciplinary and multicultural environment. You thrive in managing complexity and bringing engineers together to make a difference in the product. Of course, you are also a good communicator, and have excellent English skills both verbally and in writing.
