The Mission
We are looking for a someone who can turn creative ambition and desired player experiences into systems that give great flexibility and opportunity for scale, on an ambitious unannounced game here in Stockholm Sweden.
As a Senior Systems Designer, you’ll be responsible designing systems that will keep our players on their toes. You will be responsible for taking the initial ideas for foundational systems that span the entire breadth of the game, and turning them in to workable, reliable, and robust systems to be implemented, that can provide endless opportunity for players and fellow developers alike.
You will collaborate with a cross discipline team of Designers, Programmers, Artists, Producers, and more, to ensure the gameplay output of the systems are coherent and offers just the right level of entertainment for our players. You will work closely with team members both locally in Stockholm, and situated at CoDev partner studios around the world, to ensure the requirements and needs of designed systems are met.

In this role, you’ll join our Game Design craft and report to a Lead Game Designer working with Combat, Systemics and other action gameplay, while working in cross-functional teams and have access to our world-wide network of Ubisoft competence.
In this role you will:
Collaborate with other other Designers to define and guide the implementation of complex Systems that drive gameplay
Collaborate within a cross-disciplinary team (Designers, Programmers, 3D Artists, Audio Designers, World Designers, Producers and QC)
Utilize the designed systems to provide gameplay designers with ample opportunity for incredible gameplay, whilst ensuring and retaining the integrity of the underlying systems
Fine tune the data, to ensure consistent outcomes and an understandable player experience
Coordinate with Leads and Producers to update on needs and timelines
Have the opportunity to mentor junior and intermediate designers
We would love if you:
Have experienceworking with Systemic design
Have experience with taking proactive responsibility for features from conception to post-release quality
Know when to think inside the box, when to think outside the box, and when we should really just build a better box
Haveseveralyears of experience working with Systems design in AAA projects,preferablyingame(s)that have been shipped
Been working in an international environment and knows how to express yourself fluently in English.
