Senior Systems Developer ? M3/Movex

Sandvik IT is a support function with the mission to meet the IT needs of Sandvik's business globally. This is done in an international environment with various areas of responsibilities, such as IT architecture, management systems, process development, IT security and IT support, among others. Today, there are about 1000 people working with IT within Sandvik.

M3/Movex Development is responsible for support and development of four M3 and a couple of Movex installations for all of the Sandvik Business Areas. We are now looking for a Senior Systems Developer who wants to take part in building and developing a global team that offers global service when required.

The location for this position is flexible, but preferably India (Pune) or Sweden.

Key performance areas
As Senior Systems Developer you will work with systems development and programming. You carrying out feasibility studies and make time estimates, as well as establish specifications, in order to map out customers' needs. You will be working in a virtual organization, where your colleagues are located in other places or countries, working together toward a common goal.

This position includes some travel, within Sweden and internationally.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's in IT Engineering or Systems Development, or equivalent experience. You have at least five years? experience of systems development with M3/Movex, experience from working with business processes and RPG development is an advantage. Good communication skills in English, both in writing and speaking, are a prerequisite for this position.
