Senior Systems Engineer, Group Digital, Ingka Group

In this role you will:
· Develop, run, monitor and support the assigned product or service with the right toolsets required
· Design and deliver a technology service through automation and self-service capabilities for efficiency, availability and usability
· Design the provisioning, life cycle management, and availability of development, test and production environments.
· Lead & coach in change activities in different environments in order to secure functionality and availability
· Collaborate in tests, performance analysis, configuration management and creation of functional/feature specifications
· Enable cooperation and align with key stakeholders within INGKA and Inter IKEA with interdependencies towards Group Digital related to product/service design
· Contribute to the various Product Teams with tasks that require optimization/modifications to the current design
· Apply and lead to good engineering practices within an agile/iterative development approach
· Guide other engineers encouraging good practices


You have knowledge in following areas:
· Experience of implementing digital solutions in the IKEA business retail domain covering finance and/or procurement, ecommerce, fulfilment/logistics business processes
· Deep understanding of the cost & delivery lead-time drivers in systems delivery and operations and the commercial consequences of the technical decisions made
· Extensive knowledge of operations engineering practices including BDD, TDD, test automation, DevOps, with knowledge and experience of using industry standard toolsets
· Proven ability of working in agile working and continuous improvement encouraging simplicity, efficiency, ownership and accountability
· Deep knowledge of design and architecture concepts (i.e. api/events/microservices)
· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
· Knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be, for example, responsible to
· Develop and deliver improvements in accelerating delivery of digital Finance & Procurement solutions
· Lead a team of system and software engineers in implementing an improvement backlog of delivery accelerators that are deployed and used by development teams
· Support the engineering managers with investment business cases for specific improvements
You will also be contributing to INGKA Digital performance indicators:
· Digital strategy implementation progress
· Lead Time for changes
· Time to Restore service
· Availability of service
In this role you will report to Engineering Manager for Digital Finance, Procurement & Real Estate
This role is located in Helsingborg, Sweden
